Beach Pictures

Took a little trip with Mama, daddy, Uncle Adam, Grammy, Granddaddy, Aunt San and Granny last week! We went to Boca Grande in southwest Florida. I had a bit of an adventure as you will see in my pictures...I had to run away from a falling sun, I was just the right snack size for the monster iguanas on the island, and to top it off, Mama threw me in a bucket when my hands got too sandy...apparently she does not like it when I dig in the sand and accidentally (OK, on purpose) throw all the sand in her hair!!! Shhhh, don't tell her I think its pretty funny...

14 months old today!

Hi all! In case you are not keeping with the times like mama and daddy are, I am 14 months old today! I am not sure what that means, but thats OK! I don't have too much to report, but I did want to share my new skill...it is very fun - I put my blankie on top of my head and run around the house!!! Every once in a while I run into a wall, or,  just yesterday I tripped over the hippo and banged my head into the cabinets - someone really should have consulted me on the placement of such immovable objects! I didn't even cry though when I got a bump on my head! 

I am hearing that we are going on an adventure this week - a trip to the beach! I will be sure to report back on how it goes, my thoughts on the trip, and the behavior of the adults in charge! Until then, thanks for checking in on me and  have a great week!

Best Seat in the House!

Got myself a new chair today!! 

Mama and Daddy took me to the store today and got me a sweet seat! Its got My friends Tigger and Pooh on it, its yellow and green, and its low to the ground and dad said I can sit in it anytime I want to! Don't tell them, but I have Mama and Daddy wrapped around my finger! Not only did I get a new chair today, but I also got a new tooth brush too! Elmo is on it!!

I hope all of you out there have as great a place to sit as I do! And a couple of people who give you as many kisses and hugs as I get everyday :)

Happiest Place on Earth...

Today was a HUGE day!! Mama and Daddy took me over to a place called Disney World...Now I see what all the fuss is about!! There were so many things to do!! We rode the jungle cruise, Pirates of the Carribbean - sing with me now - yo ho yo ho its a pirate's life for me, you know the tune...we also rode Its a Small World! We had so much fun walking around and looking at all the people!! After a few hours of Magic, we headed home for a nap - a much needed nap! Then we went off again - this time to the same place, but a different park called Animal Kingdom! What an amazing place! We saw bats, big lizards, birds, crocodiles, lions, tigers, giraffes, gazelles, monkeys, and elephants (as you can see from my pic above)! Mama and Daddy also took me to see a very loud, very terrifying song and dance show called "Finding Nemo - the musical," I mentioned, more than once I might add, that I did not enjoy the show during all of this chaos! I tell ya, I love 'em, but I have a lot to teach mama and daddy - I thought everyone knew that we little people simply do not have time to sit down and watch a show when we are at a theme park - DUH!! 

The whole day was great! Mama and Daddy have promised to bring me back again, next time when I can remember all the excitement, but for now I would say that is was a really good time just being with mama and daddy in a place that sure seems like the happiest place on earth :) 

Sea World

Did you know there is a place not to far from where I live that there are dolphins, fishies, whales, birds, and some strange looking thing with lots of teeth called a shark?? Mama and Daddy took me to Sea World today...it was so much fun! We saw two shows...well, I won't lie, I slept through some big black and white fish that jumps out of the water a lot and makes everyone clap , thus disturbing my rest...then we went to see the penguins, the stingrays, the sea lions, the dolphins, and 3 sea turtles! I watch Go Diego Go, so I knew all about the turtles!! I also got to see some ugly frogs... Mama would not let me bang on the frogs houses...she's no fun! We also cooled off in the Happy Harbor splash zone! 

The best part of the whole day was absolutely, positively when Mama and Daddy let me get out of the stroller and...wait for it...I played with the straps in my stroller! What a great day!!

I'm Baaaaack!!

I know, I know...its been a while since you've heard from me...but you have no idea how much time and energy it takes for a  little fella like me to master crawling, then walking, then running, and on top of it all, learning to climb on furniture like a spider monkey! 

I have to tell you, I have  a pretty great life...I get to eat yummy snacks, I have an endless supply of drink, I get hugged and kissed all day long, and anytime I throw my hands up in the air and yell "DAH" I usually get some kind of response... BUT I do have one complaint though: Everyday, for I don't know how long, my otherwise loving and adoring parents have been subjecting me to some kind of little fella torture - they take me to a big square with water and some lady that I have never seen in my whole life puts my head and whole body underwater!!!! I DON'T LIKE IT ONE BIT!! I end up drinking half the water, I get water in my ears and eyes, and NO ONE RESPONDS WHEN I YELL...even when I yell at the top of my little lungs!!! WHAT IS GOING ON??

Aside from being thrown on the water all the time, I am having a lot of fun with Mama and Daddy! Tomorrow we are going on a trip to Sea World. I will try to get Mama to put up some pictures of our day together! I will do better at letting you know what is going on in my world...hope you are having as great a day as I am!

Happy New Year

Can you believe that tomorrow I will be 8 months old? Wow!

Since my last update, I have started eating big-people food, well, some of it anyway. I have 3 teeth now on the bottom. Those thing hurt pretty badly, but I think they'll eventually come in handy.

I am starting to get around on my own a little as well. I kind of scoot, I don't think I will bother with the whole crawling thing since I am pulling myself up and standing with some help right now. I think I'll just learn how to walk, then Mommy and Daddy will really have their hands full.

Other than that, I have been a good boy since I last updated. Mommy, uncle Adam, and I are going to lots of Dad's basketball games, but I am resting up for a playoff run.

Well, back to watching the Super Bowl...
